PHILIPPINE PARTY VENUE REVIEW

I myself did not imagine that I will be able to go different places through Partygiggles. From our client's houses, fast-food, restaurants, hotels, buildings and resorts. Weve  been to different places in Manila and neighboring cities such as Cavite, Pampanga, Laguna and more just to cater the need of our clientelles.

I did a review of the party venues that weve been attended to help parents on their planning stage specially first time moms. The venue will be rated according to the following categories:
FOOD- Taste and presentation
PRICE- Value for what you pay for
SERVICE- How the staff/crew provided service to guests
FACILITIES- Ambiance is important, restroom, table and chairs etc
PARKING- Ample space for your guests cars

Five star being the highest rate and One star the lowest. Lets Begin!!!

1. Tony's Bar and Grill- Mindanao avenue Review

I held my eldest daughter's 1st birthday party here last 2010, but I catered several functions here too. The food was delicious, but I was surprised that food during the food tasting is way more delicious than on my baby's first birthday. Cheapest price per head is around 275 plus 12% VAT for adult. They charge 1k if you will have photobooth, charges for the use of projector, charge for the DJ. They are very helpful for suppliers who will decorate ahead of time. Staffs are polite. The chairs dont have covers, if you want cover there is an additional charge each. The venue is renovated. they have 2 big function rooms to choose from, I have catered the function room on the second floor, it is bigger because it can cater to 100 guests while the other one is goof dor 70-80 persons.  The table setup is typical. The facade is quite old, wooden walls and floors but it is spacious.
One thing i really like here is they have a really spacious parking lot.
In general, I had a great experience in dealing and celebrating parties at Tony's Bar and Grill.

2. KFC Visayas Ave Review

My youngest daughter celebrated her 1st birthday here January 2014. (yes, we are on a tight budget!) :p
At this time, they dont have a party theme available because their contract with Nickelodeon has expired so I convinced them to use my desired theme which is Hello Kitty in Paris. Yeah, Hello Kitty is franchised by Jollibee but the Manager Mam Mima graciously allowed us but they mention they cant give us party amenities in hello kitty theme which is ok with us. She is so nice to deal with.
I am sure you already know what KFC taste like.. :) I choose the bento meal, One piece chicken, one rice, soup, brownies, a fixin and drinks. Its a heavy meal, I asked my guest if they were satisfied with the full and they said yes naman. For the kids, spagetti and chocolate mousse.
Service is ok nmn with the crew assigned to us. They are very helpful and gave us a cue that we are exceeding the number of people and promplty assisted us when we have additional orders.
Price- 150 for the bento meal and I forgot the meal for the kids. I was honestly glad and surprised that they only charge me P300 for the photobooth electricity consumption. Jollibee and Mcdo usually charge 1000 per hour. The mascot, would you believe is just an additional 100 pesos. yeah, their mascot is not as popular as Jollibee and Ronald but he is still the mascot and most importantly the kids enjoyed it and happy with his dance number.
Facilities- Clean restrooms, the are for the party is quite small. I thinks it is ideal for 60-80 pax but greater than 100 it gets really crowded..
PArking- Downside it that they have a small parking area.
In general,  I had a good time here. Plus they gave us free 6pieces chicken bucket.

3. MoonLeaf- Congressional Avenue Review

Hosted a tea party for teenagers at Moonleaf Congressional Ave and at the same time Partygiggles provided candy buffet for them. I was surprised that Moonleaf caters party activities. It was actually the first time this branch has catered a party. I was fortunate to meet Ms. Dimple, the very accomodating owner of the cafe. It was really fun decorating the venue, they have a small closed door function room that can accodomate roughly 20 kids or adults. It best for meeting, barkada reunion and intimate gatherings. The other venue is bigger, it can accomodate 70-80 persons. The price is consumable. As for food, they have pastas, cakes, macaroons, brownies and of course different kinds of milk teas. Though the food came in quite late, it was still a pleasurable experience.

4. Jollibee Review

A big number of parties that we catered occured in Jollibee..I am no longer going to give a review for a specific branch as its quite the same for all branches. I myself is certified Batang Jollibee. Why Jollibee party is so hit with kids? Number 1 factor is their food. Kids are so accustomed to its yummy taste. Number 2 factor is their Mascots! For a minimal amount, you can have a handful of mascot to entertains kids and adult with their lovely dance numbers and yes, picture picture!!
They have lively host that provides games for adults and kids.

Downside for Jollibee party is the limited party time. They allow 2-3 hours party time only. If there are a lot of parties scheduled during your event date, they can only provide you with 1 hour to prepare the decoration (in case your going to avail decorators). The common problem for us as decorators is that guests for previous party usually extends their stay that why its hard for us to install the decors. But yeah, experience wise we already have a team strategy to overcome this kind of difficulties. Another disadvantage of Jollibee party is that they only have specific  party theme which are Hello Kitty, Batman, Jollitown and my best friend Jollibee. They dont allow usage of other party characters.

I like jollibee parties, its affordable and surely less hassle.
